Qualification of New MPP Bonding Tool for 12mils and 5 mils Al Bonding

MPP is proud to announce its recent success in qualifying heavy wire wedges (HWW) for 5 and 12 mil wires with a major Philippines sub-contractor specializing in production of power devices.

MPP’s main objective was to support the customer’s cost reduction and assurance of supply programs. MPP managed to engineer and deliver a set of HWW tools that supported these objectives by enabling the customer to qualify these tools as “drop in” replacements , fully transparent to the POR (Process of Record) without any need for parameter changes.

MPP offers a wide variety of heavy wire wedge solutions for all bonder models including:

Extended life tools

“No clean” tools

Application Specific Customized Solutions

Drop-in replacements for existing processes
